The Internship Program

The overall goal of the Internship Program is to assure that each intern has the opportunity to use their skills, gain personal development, and attain an enjoyable experience.

Sequel TSI has multiple programs in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, and North Carolina. In addition to different locations we have different types of programs to include: locked/secure facilities, sex offender treatment facilities, outdoor therapeutic recreation programs, and a boarding school. Some of these programs are private, and others have juveniles in state custody. Internship opportunities are available at each of these facilities.

ELIGIBILITY/REQUIREMENTS
Sequel TSI has opportunities for students at both the Bachelors and Masters levels. We are looking for students that are focusing their education in the Social Service and Education fields and who will be receiving academic credit for completing an internship.

Master Level Internship Requirements

  • Minimum length 400 – 600 hours
  • May be held year round
  • From a university within 50 miles of program
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Be in Junior/Senior year of school
  • Have Valid ID/Dependable Transportation
  • Limited to 2 internships per semester
  • MASTERS LEVEL INTERNSHIP Learn more

Bachelor Level Internship Requirements

  • Minimum length 10-12 weeks
  • May be held year round
  • From a university within 50 miles of program
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Be in Junior/Senior year of school
  • Have Valid ID/Dependable Transportation
  • Limited to 3 internships per year

Due to the nature of the services we provide and the trust placed in us by parents, agencies, professionals and insurance companies, we must, by necessity, screen all interns with care and consideration. Anyone convicted of a felony will not be considered for an internship.
