When each child is admitted to a Sequel TSI program, the family continues to be an important part of their life and becomes an important part of the therapeutic process.
Ongoing family involvement is essential. Parents are encouraged to visit the campus during regular parent support weekends and for family therapy sessions. Family members are also invited to ceremonies celebrating their child's progress. These ceremonies provide important opportunities for parents to acknowledge their child's achievements.
Other opportunities for the families to get involved:
- Weekly parent phone calls
- Daily letter writing
- Weekly progress updates from child's therapist
